….It’s Thirsty Thursday!
Okay, so I have been around the blogging block for about a year and a half, and from my extensive research conducted/stalking blog stats, I have come to the conclusion if you post anything past 8:30 (9pm to be generous) over the summer, it is likely that it won’t be read by very many people. During the school year it is a different story, as 9 pm is the hot, trendy procrastinate homework time. With all this stated, I am going to make this blog post short and sweet!
Syria peace talks are not going smoothly.
After the recent turmoil that is escalating in the country, many UN countries are attempting to save Syria from Civil War by putting on sanctions to the government unless they vow to lessen the violence. However, China and Russia vetoed this proposal, causing yet another roadblock to peace negotiations. It is reported that the rebels are growing stronger having control of two border crossings and killing three key officials in a car bomb earlier this week.
She’ll be coming round the mountain, here she comes…with vengeance.
When I hear the word “dressage,” I think of my good friend Addie Spencer riding horses, almost going to the national champions the summer going into senior year of high school until her diva horse Giselle got injured. However, the Democratic National Convention had a different vision, and planed to feature the sport in a new ads blitz towards the Romney campaign. Their goal was to talk about Romney’s tax returns over images of horses, highlighting the Romney’s elite class for Middle America. However, the plug was pulled after Ann Romney spoke on Good Morning America this morning, stating she uses horse riding as a means of therapy to battle her multiple sclerosis. Ruh-roh. While the Obama campaign has stepped down, the horse Rafalca Romney has a twitter.
